I have quietly, behind the scenes, been working on something really special—and I'm so excited to finally share it with you: the formation of my new team at Compass, Third Coast Luxury!
Seven years ago, when Compass acquired The Hudson Company (the boutique brokerage where I began my career in 2012), I was a solo broker building my business from the ground up. Not long after, my colleague and dear friend, April Callahan, approached me about starting a team together. At first, my fiercely independent, type-A personality resisted. But after many heartfelt conversations, April convinced me of the power of collaboration—and I have never been more grateful that I said yes.
Our partnership as the Coco & April Group was transformative. It fueled my growth, expanded my goals, and gave me a teammate I will always cherish. While this next step may look like a “breakup” from the outside, it isn't. April and I are simply growing in different directions. With much of her life based on the East Coast now, she'll remain connected to our new team, and I look forward to continuing to share clients and opportunities with her whenever possible.
A Partnership That Feels Like Coming Home
My new business partner, Julie Bradbury Miller, is someone who has been a friend and mentor since the very beginning. Julie and I go back to our days at Hudson, where she and her mother, Mary Bradbury, generously guided me when I was just starting out. To now be partnering with Julie feels like coming full circle.
We share so much—both second-generation brokers who learned the business from our trailblazing mothers, both driven by a deep work ethic and commitment to relationships that last well beyond the transaction. And now, we share the joy of watching our own children step into real estate, becoming the third generation in our families to carry this legacy forward. That shared sense of purpose is the heartbeat of Third Coast Luxury.
What This Means for You
So, what changes for you—my clients, friends, and neighbors? Not much. Aside from a new team name and our growth from four agents to eight, my mission remains exactly the same: to bring creativity, strategy, and relentless dedication to helping you achieve your real estate goals.
Three generations. One mission. Your success at the center of everything we do.
